This inflatable character mascot was used during the International Olympic Committee’s congress in Copenhagen, School Olympics 2009 was held in Østerbro Stadium on 28, 29 and 30 September.
School Olympics is an athletic competition for all schools / students in grades 4th – 6th Classes in the City of Copenhagen.
Just like the “real” Olympics they have also their own Olympic mascot.
Olympic mascots are among the most renowned figures in the world.
Luftfabrikken has worked with athletics club SPARTA around the production of the special-made PVC figure.
This inflatable mascot figure is 3 meters high, and it is a sealed inflatable that does not require a blower.
This figure is constructed in PVC and is really a giant play toy which is a sealed unit which does not require electricity to work.
These types of special shaped balloons and characters are extremely well suited for indoor advertising, but can thus also be used as outdoor eye-catchers of shorter duration.
The Olympic mascot did his duty and attracted much attention at the sporting event in Copenhagen. The photo shows Crown Prince Frederik, Bubber and Ritt Bjerregaard at the opening ceremony.
