Dressing 17 people up in mascot costumes, and taking a “group picture” is no easy assignment. We at Bamsefabrikken had to face it, when this picture was taken.
17 local Blokhus FC youth players ranging from 170 to 185 cm. In height, had been gathered to make this advertising photoshoot a reality.
Peter Ibsen says after after the photoshoot: “to gain the attention of 17 young boys in the 14-15 age can be difficult enough in itself. But try and dress the same bunch of lads in giant wolf mascot costumes then it becomes almost impossible ”
Wolves on the way to the danish BILKA stores.
You might recognize the cute wolf mascots from your shopping trip in the danish Bilka stores. The mascot Billie is the child friendly mascotcharacter in Bilka´s children’s concept.
Ibsens Fabrikker are now supplying the stores with the second “generation” of mascots. The current mascots were made 3 years ago and need replacement.
Whether they will all be shipped to the door in the company’s own “mascot”, the VW vintage bus “Bella” is probably doubtful. But Peter Ibsen says that he enjoys to arrive in this vintage car from 1967 when he is on customer visits.
Largest single order of costumes.
The order to Bilka is the largest production of mascots to date for the company, but the record will only stand in 14 days , as 30 mascot costumes for the costumer Top Camp is just around the corner.
