Viking figures as indoor interior

The chain of discoteques “The Happy Viking is best known as the place where young Scandinavian tourists party, when they are on summer vacation in Bulgaria.

Now the popular clubs have also begun to “pop up”in Denmark, so far in Odense and Horsens.

Ibsens Fabrikker was contacted because THV wanted some custom made Viking heads, which would be part of the disco decoration. The building in Horsens, that was to house the new discoteque was old. 

These shapes envisioned 2 angels, who collectively held a bell. The bells were fitted with 2 viking horns, and now resembled a viking helmet.The  viking helmet was now missing only the face of the disco mascot “The Happy Viking”.

Ibsens Fabrikker modeled a clay model only inspired by a pixelated image. The model was cast in fiberglass, surface sanded, painted and varnished surfaces, that are easy to clean.

The beautiful handmade Viking figurines were integrated with landmark plaster figures in the old building in Horsens.
